한반도 평화를 위한 해외동포연대(Peace Treaty Now, PTN)는 지난 주 7월 12일 국방수권법안에 한국전쟁 종식 촉구 수정안이 통과 되므로 앞으로 하원에 계류되어 있는 ‘한국전쟁 공식 종식 결의안’ (H.Res.152) 지지 확산에도 큰 탄력을 받을 것을 예상하며 오는 7월 20일 (토)부터 8월 11일 (일)까지 한국전쟁 종전 지지(#EndKoreanWar) 온라인 릴레이를 Korea Peace Now (KPW)와 함께 진행하기로 했다.

Women and Building Peace with North Korea

Join us for an evening of discussion about how women continue to lead the movement for peace and reconciliation and how we can build momentum to press for legislation calling for a formal end to the Korean War.

Speakers: Christine Ahn, Executive Director of Women Cross DMZ and Joy Yoon, a humanitarian worker who is one of the handful of Americans to have lived extensively in North Korea.


Peace Tabling at the Lowell Folk Festival

Join the Massachusetts Korea Peace Campaign and Mass Peace Action at the Lowell Folk Festival to collect petitions on Korea, Iran, Palestine, Middle East wars. Spend a couple hours behind the table then listen to music and check out the food stalls.
