Urge your member of Congress to support peace in Korea!
H.R.3446, the Peace on the Korean Peninsula Act, introduced by Rep. Brad Sherman (D-Calif.), calls for serious, urgent diplomacy in pursuit of a binding peace agreement to formally end the Korean War, urges the Secretary of State to seek to enter negotiations with North Korea to establish liaison offices in each country’s capital, and requires the Secretary of State to conduct a full review of the travel restrictions to North Korea.

Support Humanitarian Assistance to North Korea
The Enhancing North Korea Humanitarian Assistance Act (H.R.1504/S.690) would ease the delivery of much-needed humanitarian aid to the DPRK. This would not only help save lives, but it would also advance diplomacy and engagement with North Korea, which is necessary to end decades of hostilities and bring lasting peace to the Korean Peninsula.
Tell your representatives to support the delivery of humanitarian aid to North Korea by co-sponsoring the Enhancing North Korea Humanitarian Assistance Act. Personalize your email message for greater impact.
Support the Divided Families Reunification Act
The unresolved Korean War has kept family members separated from one another for more than 70 years. It’s time to end the tragic human costs of this endless war. Although North and South Korea have held 21 family reunions since 1985, Korean Americans who have family members in North Korea have been unable to participate.
Ask the Senate to support S.2688, the Divided Families Reunification Act to help Korean American families reunite with their loved ones in North Korea! This legislation urges the U.S. Secretary of State to consult with his or her South Korean counterpart to identify opportunities for Korean Americans to participate in future reunions, including by video. It also encourages the Special Envoy on North Korean Human Rights Issues to work with the Korean American community to identify those same opportunities. This legislation was originally introduced by Rep. Grace Meng (NY-06) and Rep. Van Taylor (TX-03) and passed through the House this summer.
